St. Joseph Post GREENE COUNTY –One person died in an accident just after midnight Wednesday, May 24, in Greene County, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by former Hays and Schoenchen resident, James J. Brackney, 53, Springfield, was northbound on Farm Road 141 three miles north of Springfield. The motorcycle struck a deer in the road and ejected both occupants. EMS transported Brackney to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The passenger Brandi A.
